Healthy Workers Initiative

South Australia

The Healthy Workers – Healthy Futures initiative aims to encourage all South Australian employers and employees to create workplace environments and cultures that support healthy lifestyles.

A range of activities are planned as a part of the initiative to assist organisations. These include:

  • Healthy Workers Advisers to drive and support adoption of sustainable practices within South Australian workplaces, through regional or industry agencies and associations.
  • Provision of resources and materials to support workplaces and industry sectors
  • Leadership activities such as:
    • Leadership forums and networking opportunities
    • Case studies
    • Healthy Workplace Recognition Scheme
    • Healthy Workplace Award Scheme.
